2026 Blossom of Young Artists 靑春滿發

Launched in 2017, Blossom of Young Artists, the youth traditional performing arts incubation project of the National Jeongdong Theater, discovers talented young traditional performing artists and introduces their work through an incubation program and a performance competition.

The program provides young traditional performing artists with practical support essential to their artistic development, including performance opportunities, mentoring, and promotional marketing, while working together with them to create the competition stage.

The National Jeongdong Theater takes the first step alongside Korea's emerging traditional performing artists, empowering them to continue creating innovative works rooted in tradition and to sustain their own artistic journeys with confidence.

From City Hall Station (Line 1), Exit 3: Walk straight ahead and turn left at the first alley. The theater is approximately a 5-minute walk.

From Gwanghwamun Station (Line 5), Exit 6: Approximately a 7-minute walk.

There is no on-site parking available. We strongly recommend using public transportation.

If you must travel by car, please use a nearby public parking facility.


Notice

The area around [National Jeongdong Theater Cecil], near City Hall and Gwanghwamun, is frequently affected by heavy traffic congestion and public demonstrations. Please allow sufficient travel time to ensure you arrive at the venue before the performance begins.

1. National Jeongdong Theater Cecil (formerly Cecil  Theater) is located at a different site from the main National Jeongdong Theater. Please check the venue location before your visit.

2.  This performance is open to audiences aged 7 and above (born in 2019 or earlier).

- Children below the minimum age will not be admitted, regardless of whether they hold a ticket or are accompanied by a guardian.

- If requested by staff, you may be required to present identification verifying the audience member's date of birth (e.g. passport or other official identification). Refunds, cancellations, or changes due to failure to meet the age requirement are not permitted on the day of the performance.

3. Reservation, cancellation, and refund policies are subject to the terms and conditions of the ticketing platform. Please review the relevant policies before completing your purchase.

4. Ticket holders are responsible for selecting the appropriate discount category.

5. Discounts cannot be combined.

6. The resale, transfer, or exchange of tickets through unofficial channels is strictly prohibited.

7. [National Jeongdong Theater Cecil] has one designated wheelchair-accessible seat. Visitors using powered wheelchairs will be guided to the rear entrance via an accessible route around the building.

8. There is a ramp between the lobby and the auditorium. Visitors using powered wheelchairs are required to transfer to a manual wheelchair in the lobby before entering the seating area.

9. Guests using wheelchairs or requiring mobility assistance are advised to make reservations by contacting gongki: 02-742-1500.

10. Tickets may be collected or purchased at the venue from one hour before the performance.

11. Please present your reservation number or a valid ID when collecting your ticket.

12. Lost, damaged, or defaced tickets cannot be reissued.

13. After the performance has begun, entry is permitted only at designated times determined by the performance schedule. Latecomers may be seated in designated late-admission seats instead of their original seats. If these seats are full or unavailable, admission may be denied. Refunds, cancellations, or seat changes will not be provided in such cases.

14. There is no intermission during the performance.

15. Re-entry is not permitted once you have left the auditorium during the performance.

16. Seating space and storage areas are limited. Please bring only essential personal belongings.

17. Photography, video recording, and audio recording are not permitted during the performance, except during the curtain call, unless prior authorization has been obtained.
18. Food and beverages are prohibited inside the auditorium, except bottled water with a secure lid.
19. Gifts, food, flowers, and other items for performers are not accepted. Access to backstage and dressing rooms is strictly restricted. Please note that any flowers delivered to the venue will be disposed of.
20. National Jeongdong Theater Cecil does not provide on-site parking. We strongly recommend using public transportation. Refunds, cancellations, or changes due to traffic or parking issues will not be accommodated.
